The Sheriff’s Office operates a full service patrol bureau 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The patrol bureau consists of four patrol squads each supervised by a Lieutenant, Sergeant and Corporal. The officers on each squad are assigned to geographic zones covering approximately 643 square miles of land. Squads work 12 hour shifts on a rotating basis and answer calls, conduct investigations, serve warrants and processes, and perform a multitude of other duties.
